Cloud Forest Martial Institute / NinjaWayze
About the developers
Get Next Things is built by Cloud Forest Martial Institute and NinjaWayze Software Development. We write software a house uses for real leftover work, and we review it before it ships.
I
Who builds this
Cloud Forest Martial Institute and NinjaWayze Software Development build Get Next Things. One is a working school. The other is the software practice beside it.
The hall, the shop, and the software sit in one house. Next Thing is one of the titles that house ships.
This software was built under the guidance, support, and tutelage of product and operations advisors and builders who asked to remain anonymous.
Donors and financial backers have also asked for anonymity.
II
How we build
We build production systems. The work is tried against real household boards, then reviewed before it ships.
A leftover that vanishes, or a reward that will not grant, is a person, not a ticket. That is why we look twice.
III
Security and care of data
Families trust us with household work, points, and the names they put on the board. That is a duty, not a slogan.
- Least privilege: each part of the system sees only what it needs.
- Secrets stay off the client.
- Transport is encrypted.
- Access follows role.
We hold that information in trust for the household. It is theirs. We treat it that way.
IV
What professional means here
Professional, here, means the rigor of higher education: work that is clear, checked, and ready to defend.
The tools change. We keep learning so the software that carries this name stays sound.
V
Lineage of craft
Our approach was shaped through years with Appalachian State University’s regional business development institute.
That same practice was shaped through 501(c)(3) support, through entrepreneur communities, and through NinjaWayze. That history is how we learned how regional schools and small organizations actually operate.
Appalachian State University does not endorse this product.

A household board you keep
Get Next Things is the public door for Next Thing, the household board from Cloud Forest Martial Institute and NinjaWayze Software Development. Leftover weekly work is divided across the house and rewarded when it lands. A parent buys it once through the Cloud Forest shop and holds the license; kids stay as in-app profiles and never need an account.
It is new to the market, built with precision so it holds up against software that has already had years in the field.
